we enrich the lives of

our residents

Sometimes a good idea just needs space to grow

The Foundation helps significant community projects get off the ground, providing critical early investment in new ideas like Capitol Hill Village and Hill Center.

The Foundations also directs its own initiatives. From renovating school libraries to celebrating resident activists; from introducing young students to the world of Shakespeare to creating an archive of local oral histories.
