The Club part of Rotary International (1.2 million members, 35,000 clubs worldwide) focuses on serving disadvantaged residents of Capitol Hill and DC and implementing international service projects. Membership provides great opportunities for service, fellowship, and networking.
We meet at the Dubliner restaurant (4 F Street NW) on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
Providing dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Ward 6 in DC, collecting clothes for the homeless as winter sets in, supporting organizations working with women who are victims of domestic violence, and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army.
More sustained engagements
Providing pro bono consulting to nonprofits, organizing training events for nonprofits, etc.
The club also organizes various events locally and internationally, participates in the Barracks Row festival, etc.
