G. Krug & Son Ironworks Museum is committed to preserve and interpret the history of America's oldest functioning ironworks.
G. Krug & Son Ironworks Museum is looking for someone to research and then develop educational programming based on the history and opportunities presented through G. Krug & Son. This could range from researching institutions where G. Krug & Son has worked to focusing on architects Krug has worked with, in order to develop exhibits and educational resources and programming to developing age based programming for school groups, both on and offsite with the resources the museum has available. This is an open-ended opportunity that can be driven by the interests of the educator, and can cover thematic possibilities such as institutions, individuals, communities, metalwork, blacksmithing, business, architectural styles, architects, military, art, among many other topics. This is an ongoing project, meaning start and end dates can be determined on a case-by-case basis.
