Congressional Chorus celebrates groundbreaking women Sunday Nov. 19

The Congressional Chorus, a CHCF grantee, will celebrate groundbreaking women who fought for freedom and justice with a live performance Sunday, Nov. 19 at 4:30pm.

An eclectic mix of music, poetry and dance, tells the story of voices who fought to be heard: Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Ella Baker, Maya Angelou and others. Lift your spirits and stir your soul with inspiring works that chronicle the ongoing struggle for civil rights in the United States.
