The Capitol Hill Community Foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations, schools and other neighborhood groups in support of programs and projects that benefit residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

 

Grants are made in the following areas:

  • Children’s education – programs in schools as well as after-school tutoring and mentoring

  • Social Services

  • Arts, culture and recreation for children and adults

  • Enhancement of the physical environment

In general, the Foundation awards grants for projects with specific outcomes and projects with a broad reach in the Capitol Hill community.
